How to supply your advert to Bee Craft

Discounts for artwork in a preferred format!
Our team is ready to compose your advert for you from your message and photographs, but we can also accept the following file formats* for direct insertion into the magazine at its composition stage:

  • CorelDRAW (.cdr) – versions up to no.12
  • Adobe Illustrator (.ai) – versions up to ‘CS’
  • MS Publisher (.pub) – versions up to 2003
  • Macromedia Freehand – versions up to no.10
  • Adobe PDF
  • Quark Xpress (Mac version up to 4.0)
    - Don’t forget to include the supporting files e.g. photographs/logos
  • TIFF** (IBM format, not Zip or LZW) and
  • JPG**
  • Camera-Ready Artwork for scanning

* Please remember that any special fonts you have purchased need to be forwarded to us for the purposes of printing OR your text must be converted to outlines or curves before sending us the advert.
** These files must be set at 1200dpi for black and white OR 300dpi for colour.

You can send us your advert via the following methods

  • Email
  • web download
  • on floppy disk
  • on Zip 100 disks (PC or MAC)
  • on CD-R/CD-RW or DVD-R/DVD-RW
  • or on USB stick

Don’t forget to include a return address if different from the address shown on the advert.

If you use any other software not listed above, please do not hesitate to contact the Editorial Team to check how you can produce a suitable file.
