A 14 hour theory and practical course, taught by some of the county’s leading beekeepers – including a bee farmers, bee inspector and both the President and Chairman of Wiltshire Beekeepers.
It aims to help those wanting to:-
– Discover more about beekeeping
– Decide whether beekeeping is a suitable hobby.
– Start beekeeping.
The theory is taught in Bishops Cannings village hall on Wednesdays 7.30 – 9.30pm, usually alternate weeks: February 21st, March 7th, 21st, April 11th, 25th. The practical is at the Club apiary nearby on Saturdays around mid-day for 2 hours on May 5th and May 12th with May 19th as an alternative in case of inclement weather.
The cost includes Full Club membership giving a variety of benefits locally and nationally.
Early application is advised since numbers are strictly limited.
