National Bee Unit

The National Bee Unit (NBU) is part of FERA (the Food and Environment Research Agency). Its role is to protect the honey bee by controlling pests and diseases and giving support and advice to beekeepers. NBU Regional Bee Inspectors organise bee health inspections in England, Wales and Scotland using a team of Seasonal Bee Inspectors.
