Bees in the Living Room! Part 2 – May 2011

Untitled-1WE LAST manipulated the hive ‘outdoors’ in May 2008, leaving a queen cell to hatch in June. The resulting queen, raised in such a tiny colony, is unlikely to be of high quality, but that may be an advantage in keeping the colony small. Unfortunately, without another outdoor manipulation, she is unmarked.
