Ealing Abbey, Charlbury Grove, Ealing London W5. 2pm to 4pm. Two fascinating things to do before teatime. First, hear all about Bees for Development.  A UK registered charity which helps Beekeepers, especially the poor and marginalised, to keep bees in order to provide sustainable livelihoods for themselves and their families, whilst conserving biodiversity. As well as working in Africa and Asia, the charity takes a global view of beekeeping which enables unique insights into the trends and challenges of this often neglected sector of agriculture. Then learn how you can make your garden provide a good environment for bees. Father James Leachman, botanist and beekeeper, will show us the plants we can use to provide a bee friendly space.
