THE ADVISORY Committee on Pesticides (ACP) was established in 1985 to advise Ministers on any matters relating to the control of pests; the detailed terms of reference are appended to the end of this article. ‘Pesticides’ in this context cover fungicides and herbicides as well as insecticides.
