Anybody still got treatment in their colonies?  Check the insertion date in case you forgot to put the removal date on your calendar.  You don’t want to leave it in over winter by mistake.

If you have a rapid feeder (one that fits across the top of the colony completely) it’s time to remove it, clean and store for next year. This will prevent mildew and remove the need to re-paint the inside before re-use.

Once these jobs are done your colonies are set to be left, undisturbed, probably until the New Year when you may consider inserting a varroa tray to determine whether oxalic treatment is needed.
