Allergies to bee and wasp stings

Q – If someone is allergic to wasp stings, will they also have an allergy to bee stings? I have read conflicting reports about the similarity/difference between the venom in the two types of stings.

A – We all react differently to stings. Anyone with an allergy should always seek professional advice before taking up beekeeping.
